The following positions are currently available:
Project Manager/Skills Trainer: The Skills Trainer assists Let’s Talk program participants in classroom activities and during community based activities to increase the individual’s development of independent living and advocacy skills. Let’s Talk is 20 week advocacy program conducted at workshops and day program in South Carolina. Program delivery will be focused on: advocacy, healthy living, community service, presentation skills, use of technology skills, volunteerism, and current events.
Job Coach/Employment Specialist: The employment specialist is responsible for assessing skills, identifying employment opportunities and providing the necessary job supports to foster long term competitive based employment for individuals with disabilities.
Life Coach/Support Specialist: The Support Specialist supports participant across community-based programs by actively connecting and engaging individuals in the community. The Support Specialist participates in a variety of structured employment and/or community based activities to include, but not limited to, social and life skill building, health and wellness, volunteer and employment opportunities, and culture and community inclusion.
Direct Support Professional (DSP): The DSP provides light to medium maintenance and domestic functions associated with residential programs, including personal care needs of the individuals supported, cleaning, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping and grounds keeping duties as assigned. The Direct Support Professional maintains positive, professional relationships with individuals served, families/guardians, peers, community partners and government agencies and assists in the implementation of Individual Support Plans for individuals based on assessments, objectives, and goals.
Midlands Thrift Retail Specialist: Part time, up to 28 hours.
